Atomic Backland 107 Skis

Our Take On The 2024 Atomic Backland 107:

The Atomic Backland 107 checks all the boxes for countless backcountry skiers who want to earn their powder turns all winter long. Since its initial release, the Backland series has always prioritized downhill performance, staying true to Atomic’s long history of turning out super-versatile and fun skis. The first couple versions skied great, but they were on the heavier side for touring. These days, though, Atomic has found the sweet spot when it comes to weight versus skiability. The Backland 107 is among the lighter skis in the freeride touring category and, true to form, it still crushes the downhill. It planes smoothly in pow, maneuvers with ease through tight places, and devours the buffet of snow conditions you typically find in the backcountry. The 2023 version has no changes besides a top sheet update, a good indication that Atomic is A-OK with where they’ve taken this ski. And we think you will be A-OK with where it takes you.
