The narrowest ski in the Trace family, the Trace 88, got an overhaul for the 2020-2021 season to help round out the family as the lightest, quickest and most adventure focused member. Traditionally, lightweight touring skis that are built for the uphill suffer from instability on the downhill, but the Trace 88 is here to change that tradition. Maintaining its low weight profile with a Caruba wood core, the Trace 88 gains stability with an updated core profile and an elongated radius that work together to balance the flex and dampen the ski. The EST All-Mountain rocker shape makes the downhill just as much fun as the uphill, and adds some versatility to this fast-moving ski. The Trace 88 is growing up and taking some advice from its big sisters, and we like the direction it's going.
