K2 is all about serious fun. Shenanigans and silly antics are an everyday occurrence at K2 HQ. If you’ve ever skied on K2 skis, and we bet you have, you’ll know that fun attitude translates directly into their products. K2 makes high performance, yet forgiving skis. Whether you’re headed out to the resort or into the backcountry, K2 has a ski for you. Let’s take a gander at the line up of 2016 K2 skis!

Next year K2 will introduce the Konic series. These will take the place of the popular AMP series (like the AMP Rictor 82XTi). These skis will encompass all the aspects of the AMP series and the Recon series that skiers have adored for so long. The Konic series uses a new core which reduces swing-weight from the center and extremities for added ease and control while still giving you strength, stability, and power. You’ll also see that the tip and tail are tapered to shift the contact points reduce material-use. In the above picture (from left to right) we have the iKonic 85Ti, iKonic 80Ti, and iKonic 80.

  1. I skied the Luv Sick 80Ti last weekend. The snow was firm, but starting to soften. The ski holds well on firm snow, yet is easy to turn. The ski will do easy short radius turns as well as hold in longer radius turns at speed. This is a fun ski!

  2. Happen to know what lengths the Pinnacle 95 will be coming in? Thanks.
