Products are made by people who are committed to perfection, and understand what the mountain requires. In Rossignol skis you will find excellent value, high reliability, quality, and attractive design. Rossignol aims to be known as the most progressive and authentic mountain brand on the market.
On 2012-06-25, Mark asked: looking for demo rossi S7s preferably with bindings 177-188. Last year skiid 2 days with the Koopmans and loved them. Saw the head "kiss of death" skis on your site. How do they compare? Powder7: As to the Kiss of Death, it has similar dimensions at 130/110/120 and a rockered tip and tail. A big difference is in the turning radius of the two skis. The S7 is around 18m, whereas the Kiss of the Death is a whopping 32m; better for gs, long radius turns. Definitely a big mountain powder ski that is not quite as versatile in the tight turning situations. However, the Kiss of Death is much more stable at speed than the S7.
On 2012-06-25, Tim asked: Do these skis have a titanal layer? I was under the impression that only the 195cm S7's had titanal. Powder7: The S7 has the wood core and a carbon layer. The 195 S7 is also referred to as the Super 7 as it has that extra layer to stiffen it up. Feel free to give us a call if we can help you more.
On 2012-06-25, Rick asked: My son skied on Rossignol Super7 140 out in breckenridge and loved them. We ski every weekend at sugarbush in Vermont . Would you recommend the Line Mastermind for East or a little fatter ski such as Super7 or the Icelantic? Powder7: The Line Mastermind is a lot different ski than the Super7. It is really an East Coast All Mtn ski. It features traditional camber to perform really well on hard pack conditions, but still has an 85mm underfoot width to handle crud and shallow powder conditions. The Super7 has a rockered tip and tail with very little camber underfoot. It will perform on hard pack, but really comes into its own when the snow is deeper or softer. Since you are skiing East Coast conditions most of the time, the Mastermind would be the better choice.
On 2012-06-26, Mark asked: I'm looking for Rossignol S7s. Last year skied 2 days with the Koopmans and loved them. How does the Head Kiss of Death compare to the S7? Powder7: he Kiss of Death has similar dimensions to the S7 at 130/110/120 and a rockered tip and tail. A big difference is in the turning radius of the two skis. The S7 is around 18m, whereas the Kiss of the Death is a whopping 32m; better for gs, long radius turns. On 2012-06-26, Alex asked: What's the difference between s7 and super 7s? Powder7: The Super7 is like the pro version of the S7. It has two sheets of Titanal running over and under the core. This ski is much stiffer, but has the same dimensions and turning radius as the S7. It only comes in two long lengths, 188 and 195cm.
