2012 Review: This year, Nordica is bringing the fun back to junior ski racing with the Dobermann GSj, the most advanced junior GS ski on the market. The GSj has a vertically laminated wood core with a sheet of titanal aluminum. This means the ski has a perfect blend of wood, metal and dialed in sidecut to permit young racers to maintain a much needed edge grip at high speeds as well as a smooth and even flexing ski that encourages development. The GSj features the Marker JR Plate interface.

Nordica is a company rich in history - formed in 1939 by the Vaccari brothers in Italy they first produced casual footwear before turning to ski boots after World War II. As downhill ski racing became popular, Nordica started appearing on podiums throughout the world. Nordica skis are characterized as above average in stiffness, making many of their models ideal for strong skiers. However, with careful selection even a novice can benefit from Nordica's high performance sticks.
