About Marker:

For over 60 years, Marker Bindings have been the top choice for ski racers to alpine tourists to casual resort-goers. Hannes Marker debuted his revolutionary releasable binding at the 1952 Sporting Goods Trade Show in Wiesbaden, Germany. Ski racers started using Marker Bindings in the World Cup, then the Royal Family freestyle series was introduced. Finally the alpine touring series of bindings came out allowing skiers to use the same binding for mountain ascents as downhill jaunts.
