Review from Powder7.com The MX88 is a skiers ski. With its traditional sandwich build comprised of a Silver Fir and Ash wood core, two .5mm sheets of Titanal, fiberglass reinforcment, and rubber dampening strips this ski will crush all conditions from the mach carving to the gnarly crud. The 88mm width is truly an all mountain width and the hollowtech cutouts in the tips reduce weight. This is Kastles Flagship ski.
Kastle went into early retirement in 1997 after their parent company, Benetton Group slashed the R&D budget of the 73 year-old Austrian manufacturer considerably. After 10 years of dormancy, in 2007 Kastle unveiled its "Comeback Collection" and turned heads worldwide. In 2010 Kastle showed the skiing world that they are here to stay with a strong display at the SIA Snow Show in Denver, Colorado. Look for Kastle to become one of the most popular brands on the slopes over the next several years.
