Many don't realize that Head is one of the few major US born ski manufacturers. Started by aeronautical engineer Howard Head in 1950, the brand quickly became popular domestically and many skiers from the 1960's and 70's remember their beloved Head skis. What stands out most about Head skis is the technology in each ski.
