From Powder7 The Exclusive Series by Dynastar with the Balance System is designed with great attention to the needs of female skiers. The Balance System has three features that differentiate the Exclusive Series. First, the binding mount and side cut of the ski are moved forward to increase control, second, the heel is raised providing better balance, and lastly, the ski is 25 percent lighter. The Idyll is aimed at the advancing intermediate female skier who wants to explore the mountain with confidence. The ski is lighter and softer than the Eden and the Paradise, but shares the all mountain shape. Thus, this ski will perform well on groomers and will also float through the powder and crud as well as turn in the trees. The Idyll is a great go anywhere ski. Dynastar suggests that this is a ski for 50 percent groomed, 50 percent ungroomed.

Review from Powder7.com: The Exclusive Legend Idyll is the most popular ski from the Dynastar Exclusive line-up. The Idyll is 78mm at the waist, making it a great choice for Western skiers who enjoy groomed runs, moguls, and occasional powder. It's also a favorite among skiers in the Northeast who enjoy skiing the entire mountain. The Idyll's wood core provides nice flex pattern, which allows it to be soft enough for skiing in the trees and moguls and stiff enough to carve on hardpack. The Exclusive line from Dynastar features female-specific ski construction and graphics. Women's skis are lighter than their counterparts in the men's line-up. The Idyll is considered an advanced intermediate to expert ski, but it is still fairly easy going and is therefore a top choice for the rapidly improving beginner or intermediate.
